Slim EVO R11 LED spotlights from Precision Lighting have been chosen for the minimalist reception at leading risk management expert consultancy Algorithmics’ European headquarters in Canary Wharf, London. The 22 LED spotlights are on Precision Lighting’s Basis Track and protrude discreetly through a slatted ceiling helping to keep the fifth floor reception’s decor uncluttered. Aecom specified a black finish and snoots designed to eliminate glare.
The spotlights provide gentle ambient light in the reception area and illuminate artwork on the walls created using laser-cut metal. LED’s alone were used throughout the reception and circulation areas to keep the lighting scheme simple and to save energy. The fit-out of Algorithmics’ 25,000sq ft offices was designed by interior design and architecture practice MCM Architecture and AECOM, which specified Precision Lighting’s low-voltage LED track spotlights for their architectural appearance, glare control and range of accessories.
